Flying Wheels

flying wheels.jpgI’ve been getting into cycling and on Saturday I rode the Flying Wheels Summer Century. I rode the 70 mile route (not the 100) in preparation for the STP, the 200 mile 2 day Seattle to Portland bike ride.  It’s not quite the same as riding the Hog, but lots of fun nonetheless.  I’m definitely looking forward to the STP, though — it’s on 14 July and it’ll be a great way to celebrate my birthday.

300 Miles to Yakima on 28 May

The ride to Yakima continues to be fun, including the stop in Roslyn, where Northern Exposure was filmed.  Here’s a shot of me alongside the Yakima River.

Listing of Canon EF Lenses

As I purchased XTi, I was searching around for a comprehensive list of lenses and reviews.  So far EFLens.COM is the only site that seems to provide it.  I purchased the 28-135mm “short zoom” for starters.  It should work well against the kit lens that comes with the XTi until I decide to purchase something more interesting.
