Now there’s a couple of happy motorcycle dudes. Here’s a photo from a 3 day Las Vegas ride I did with my dad. We rode a total of 800 miles, covering 3 states, including a long stretch on the Mother Road, Route 66.
I think that it’s about time to start riding the motorcycle regularly now. The weather has gotten a bit warmer and I noted that it’s getting dark a bit later. I’m definitely feeling good about that. Because my hands get cold when I ride, I had heated grips installed when I got my new ride. [...]
Yup — I did it. Traded in the ’04 Road King for an ’08 Road Glide. Awesome machine — 96 cubic inches with Rinehart slip-ons. The audio system is kind of fun too. No wonder I’m smiling.
The Seattle Times published one of my photos in their “Pix From My Weekend” site. This is the first time I’ve had one of my photos published in the print media. You can see the photo in its full glory at http://www.newentity.com/. Below is a screen cap of the web page where the photo is [...]
Last weekend seven of us took a ride from Seattle out to Wenatchee, up through Osoyoos and Penticton, to Merritt, Harrison Hot Springs and back. Here’s a photo just north of Penticton taken by a friend with my camera (f/8, 1/160, 21mm):
The ride to Yakima continues to be fun, including the stop in Roslyn, where Northern Exposure was filmed. Here’s a shot of me alongside the Yakima River. Shot by a friend with my Canon XTi, f7.1, 28mm, 1/125sec.
Another great riding day. Here’s a photo of me at Deception Pass on Whidbey Island. Shot with my new XTi, focal length 18mm (kit lens), f4/5, ISO 100, 1/400 sec.
Photos below from my Canon Digital Rebel. Canyon Road from Ellensburg to Yakima is just 28 miles of spectacular riding (the first two photos). The last photo is from White Pass, with Mt. Rainier in the background. Gotta love Washington.
I realized that I don’t actually have a photo of myself on this site. This image was taken with my Canon G3. This picture is of the second longest covered bridge in North America. It was taken 1 July 2004 in Waltham, Quebec with my Canon EOS Digital Rebel. Bikers seem to have a thing [...]
